Sustainability

A&BS strives to be a leader in sustainability by establishing best practices when it comes to purchasing policies, as well as efficient use and conservation of energy, water, and other resources. In the past five years BS has taken conscience steps to pursue and improve environmentally responsible practices among students and staff. The ultimate goal is to become "zero waste." 

Some of the practices in our unit include:

• Composting
• Recycling
• Commuting by carpool, bus, or bicycle
• Paperless transactions/electronic tracking systems
